Art has always used the banana to challenge common sense. Bananambar does the same in perfumery: it begins with a bold smile and ends with an ancient prayer for an impossible fruit born among the branches of the resinous Mediterranean scrub.

An ironic opening, a pop homage that shakes up conventions. But it's just a veil. Beneath the playfulness, beats a pulsing heart of extra doses of Cistus Labdanum absolute, extracted in its wildest and most resinous purity. We took the traditional amber accord, that reassuring pillar of perfumery, and twisted it into a modern, super-natural key. It's not a gourmand! Bananambar is an ancestral resin that has forgotten the rules.
