What is DDBD?
Temple viper venom contains Waglerin-1, a protein with powerful neuro-relaxing action on muscles. Inspired by this natural mechanism, cosmetic research has developed DDBD, a dipeptide that mimics its function: it intercepts the nerve signal at the cutaneous neuromuscular junction, attenuating the contraction of mimic muscles. The target is dynamic expression wrinkles, those generated by repeated facial movements, which progressively smooth out, giving the eye and lip contour a visibly smoother and more relaxed appearance.
